About Ruby, who is starting this and can build a crew with aligned resources...
Dear Supporters,
As I navigate giving care to others in so many facets of my life, it only made sense to make a hub.
I am balancing an artistic license, with business acumen and growing optimism. I thrive when I can teach, have complex problems to solve, and can nurture and care for others. I am starting this as a helpful outlet all around. Being direct for time. I have loads to improve on, learning from mistakes everyday, and learn by doing.
This was ultimately founded from pivotal experiences providing care for, seeing unmet needs in, and wanting to directly share helpful resources with, community. I ponder more to inform the origins of CarePair, below:
No need to tear other practices down, yet there are some interesting care-related practices out there right now, a lot of unmet needs, and a mound of challenges for which alleviating people ranging from care givers to those providing creative, mind-and-body stimulating outlets like exercise.
Quality giving of care around can *help* ease tensions locally and globally. I have seen first hand how healing it can be in all aspects of life and in taking the steps towards freedom from excess stress and self-/problem-absorption, au present.
As the ethics and moral fabrics strain in other industries over logistical/technology-first quarrels, I have experienced that person-to-person work carries with it both opportunity and healing for people. Over the years there have been too many tugs disguised as other ideas or needs... I have heard many wishes/vibes/prayer requests from my brothers and sisters... and literal calls to do this for others. I am trying to answer this call with this one small step, which could become as Coltrane puts it, "Giant Steps."
